Gameplay

Players control Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong, moving across platforming levels, dodging obstacles, and defeating enemies. Additions to this version of the game include a new mode, literally titled New Mode, which makes the game more suitable for handheld play and easier for newcomers by adding an extra heart to the life meter and having more items available, as well as a world unlocked at the end of the main campaign featuring eight new levels. [8] The game also features local multiplayer. [9]
